never would of guessed that empty pack of cigarettes
lived a life filled with adventure
Just another naive adult living like a teenager
I'm a rat well aware of the trap and god damn I want my cheese
maybe if I take my chances I'll enjoy my last meal and then sleep

I'm the guitar at the yard sale with a neck so wrapped I can't play
for 15 dollars I'll get it anyways and maybe I'll break it on stage someday
I'm the holes in my walls inside of my fists, from tripping on drugs in my room
maybe it wouldn't of happened if my dog didn't pop the balloon

I'm the smell of spilled beer in the morning
after a long night with friends
I should grab something to clean it but fuck that, my head hurts.

so I guess now I'm a warrant

but the only metaphor you'll get is that I'm a piece of crap
and if I am shit, which I know I am,
